IC2 to Exhibit at AIAA Aviation 2018 in Atlanta

by | Jun 12, 2018 | Announcements

IC2, a pioneer in the development of precision MEMS sensors for aerospace applications, will be exhibiting at AIAA Aviation 2018 in Atlanta, GA.  Billed as “the only aviation event that covers the entire integrated spectrum of aviation business, research, development, and technology”, the technical program runs from Jun 25th-29th. The exposition hall will feature over 30 companies and organizations and will be open from Jun. 26th-28th.

IC2 will be in booth 317 of the expo hall and will be featuring our line of DirectShear Sensing Systems, our latest innovation that offers a robust, high bandwidth, high resolution, silicon micromachined differential capacitive shear stress sensor for subsonic and transonic applications. This innovative design enables direct, non-intrusive, mean and fluctuating wall shear-stress measurements, ideal for precise skin-friction measurements in wind-tunnels.  This sensor system greatly extends the spatial and temporal resolution capabilities over existing devices as well as the overall accuracy of skin friction measurement technology.
