IC2’s MHzPressure sensors are fully calibrated (both magnitude and phase) MHz-bandwidth sensors that enable quantifiable fluctuating pressure measurements in high-speed flows.
IC2 is pleased to announce two significant updates to the sensor packages available for this sensor: IEPE and Miniaturized.

| Package | Diameter | Length |
| IEPE | 3.18 mm (0.125”) | 17 mm (0.67”) |
| Miniaturized | 3.18 mm (0.125”) | 8 mm (0.315”) |
Both models share the same performance specifications and can be used in tandem within the same test if desired.
Miniaturized Fluctuating Pressure Sensors for Hypersonic Flow
This new miniaturized package allows for sensor placement in even tighter space restricted areas. This package is designed to be a drop-in replacement for existing instrumentation offered by competitors – however, MHzPressure sensors are verifiably calibrated over the entire measurement bandwidth.
This sensor package utilizes IC2’s ASC-0401-SAL four-wire power supply – which provides low-noise power to the sensor, conditions the analog voltage signal for output to a DAQ and includes a rechargeable Li-ion battery.
IEPE-Enabled MHz-Bandwidth Pressure Sensors
By leveraging the IEPE standard, MHzPressure sensors are now compatible with commercially available IEPE power supplies and data acquisition hardware. This enables end users to utilize their existing IEPE-enabled data acquisition hardware, thereby minimizing additional hardware needed to make quality measurements.
